Many of the agencies that make placements through RecruitiFi are not U.S. entities or U.S. persons and do not pay U.S. tax. RecruitiFi requires a tax form for all non-U.S. taxpayers paid on RecruitiFi.

The tax form is used to confirm that you are not a U.S. taxpayer and that RecruitiFi is not required to withhold taxes from your earnings. Once you file your form, the system will activate your eligibility to be paid.

If you are unsure which tax form to complete, please refer to our FAQ.

Upon completion of your forms, RecruitiFi does not:

  • Withhold any taxes from your earnings

  • Use the tax form to report your income to anyone

  • Require you to fill out a paper form

  • Determine in any way whether you owe taxes in your own country
