Why am I not getting JobCasts? What can I do about it?

Understand why you may not be receiving JobCast's. Find out why and what you can do about it.

There may be a few reasons you are not receiving JobCasts:

1.) Many of the candidates you've submitted were not moved beyond reviewing. 

  • With our algorithm in full swing, it is more important than ever to submit great candidates that match the profile outlined in the "Must-Have's".

  • Quality over quantity is imperative to getting more JobCasts. 

  • If your recruiter score falls below a certain percentage you will stop receiving JobCasts. 

What can I do about it?
Make sure you are using the "Must-Have" areas to their fullest potential. Reference specific section's of your candidate's resume and most importantly make sure you are taking advantage of the "Additional Information" must have. If your candidate is willing to relocate or there is an overly compelling reason that should be considered make sure you elaborate using this field.

2.) Your JobCast settings are not accurate.

  • When you first setup your RecruitiFi account you are prompted to give input on the types of roles you can recruit for. Industry, Role, Level and Location are all important factors as to which JobCasts you are going to be sent. These will seed the algorithm with JobCasts that you will initially get.

What can I do about it?
If you are not receiving the correct JobCasts, go to your dashboard and update your JobCast settings. Clicking the settings will prompt a drop down with a few different selections. Choose 'JobCast Settings' to make sure your selections are accurate.
Make sure you are 'Rejecting' JobCasts you do not wish to work on, or are not in line with your selections. This will further hone the selection of JobCasts you will receive.

3.) We simply don't have the JobCast's right now that you should be receiving.

  • From time to time we will not have certain JobCasts available simply because our clients don't have those job's available. 

What can I do about it?
