What is an Agency Incentive, and How Do I Use It?

What is an Agency Incentive?

An Agency Incentive is a monetary bonus added to a JobCast to motivate agencies to prioritize certain job openings. This feature helps employers draw attention to specific roles by offering a financial incentive to the agencies that work on those jobs.

How Does It Work?

  • Encourages Priority Submissions: When you add an Agency Incentive to a JobCast, you entice agencies to focus their efforts on that particular role, giving it higher priority over other positions they may be working on.

  • Bonus for Hired Candidates: Any candidate submitted to the JobCast while the bonus is active will have that incentive attached to their submission. If the candidate is hired, the agency will earn the incentive on top of their regular placement fee.

  • Agency Notification: When the Agency Incentive is added, all invited agencies are notified of the bonus. They can also see the reason you’ve provided for offering the incentive, helping them understand why they should prioritize the job.

What Does an Agency Incentive JobCast Look Like for Agencies?

  • Flag with a Dollar Sign: When an Agency Incentive is active, both you and the agencies will see a green flag with a dollar sign on the corner of the JobCast.

  • Hover to View: By hovering over the flag, the agency can see the incentive amount and the reason you’ve provided for adding the bonus. This helps agencies understand the importance of the job and why it has been prioritized.

How Do I Add an Agency Incentive to a JobCast?

  1. Go to the JobCasts Page: Navigate to your JobCasts page.

  2. Select the JobCast: Click on the Actions menu of the JobCast you want to add an incentive to.

  3. Add the Incentive: Select "Add Agency Incentive" from the options.

  4. Provide Details: A dialogue box will prompt you to:

    • Explain why you are adding the incentive.

    • Set the bonus amount you want to offer.

  5. Save and Notify Agencies: Once you add the incentive, all invited agencies will be notified, and they’ll be able to see the incentive’s details.

Adding an Agency Incentive helps you target your most important roles and encourages agencies to give those positions the attention they deserve.
