Community Coins are the currency for community requisitions: open roles from across the RecruitiFi network, available without a direct client relationship.
Spending coins
When you find a community requisition you want to work, you spend a Community Coin to Work On it, which reveals the full role information and lets you submit candidates. Most community requisitions cost 1 coin, but some cost more, and the cost is shown directly on the card. You start with 50 coins, and your balance is shown beside the Community Coins link in the sidebar and in the top right of the Discover page.
Coins apply to community requisitions only. Roles from your preferred clients, which arrive through Invited, never cost coins.
Earning coins
Quality submissions. Submitting candidates determined to be of high quality earns coin bonuses.
Refunds. Your coin is refunded if the requisition closes while your candidate is still in Awaiting Sort, if you delete an unconfirmed submission (for example, a typo), or if the requisition closes within 48 hours of you deciding to Work On it.
Your ledger
The Community Coins page shows your balance, your movement over the last 30 days, and a full ledger of every adjustment with the activity, subject, amount, resulting balance, and date, so every coin in and out is accounted for.
If you run out
Without coins you cannot Work On or submit to community requisitions, so keep an eye on the balance and make sure you have enough left to submit after deciding to work a role. Focusing your coins on roles that match your strengths is what makes them go furthest.
