How Do I Request a Pay or Bill Rate Change on an Active Contract? (Agencies)

Learn how agencies can request pay or bill rate changes on active contracts in RecruitiFi.

If a pay rate or bill rate needs to change on one of your active contracts, here's how the process works for agencies.

How Rate Changes Work

Agencies cannot directly change pay or bill rates on an active contract. Rate changes must be made by the employer (the JobCast owner or Contract Manager).

How to Request a Rate Change

  1. Contact the employer directly through the RecruitiFi Message Board or Agency Chat to discuss the rate change.

  2. The employer can open a new contract with the new information, which will generate a revised Statement of Services to be signed by both parties.

  3. If you're unable to reach the employer, contact support@recruitifi.com and we'll help coordinate.

Rate Issue Preventing Candidate Submission?

If a rate discrepancy is preventing you from submitting a candidate β€” for example, the JobCast requires you to select a pay rate that doesn't match the agreed-upon rate β€” reach out to support@recruitifi.com and we can assist.

What Happens After a Rate Change

  • Rate changes apply to future timesheets only. Previously approved timesheets will not be retroactively adjusted.
