What is an Employer Rating?

An Employer Rating reflects how agency recruiters perceive you based on your actions and responsiveness during the recruitment process. It helps you gauge how well you’re working with agencies and where you can improve to build stronger partnerships.

Your Employer Rating is made up of two primary categories:

  1. JobCast Reviews: This includes feedback from agencies on aspects like:

    • Responsiveness: How quickly and effectively you communicate with recruiters.

    • Candidate Experience: The quality of interaction and transparency you provide to candidates.

    • Likelihood to Work Again: How agencies feel about working with you on future jobs.

  2. Rejection Feedback Helpfulness: This is feedback collected from agencies whenever you reject a candidate. Providing detailed, actionable feedback helps agencies refine their search and improve future submissions.

How is the Employer Rating Calculated?

  • JobCast Ratings: Collected after a JobCast is closed. Agencies will rate your responsiveness, communication, and overall experience working with you on that specific JobCast.

  • Rejection Feedback: Whenever you reject a candidate, you can provide feedback to the submitting agency. Agencies rate how helpful that feedback is, with more specific and actionable feedback leading to higher ratings.

Your personal scores can be viewed on your reporting dashboard and are visible to your Team Administrators.

  • Minimum Ratings: Employers who have fewer than 3 reviews will see an "N/A" (not applicable) where their score would appear. After you have received 3 reviews, your Employer Rating will be calculated.

How Can I Improve My Employer Rating?

To improve your Employer Rating, focus on providing high-quality, timely feedback and communication. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Be Responsive: Agencies value quick responses. Reply promptly to candidate submissions, questions, and inquiries.

  2. Offer Actionable Rejection Feedback: When rejecting candidates, give clear, specific, and helpful feedback. This helps the recruiter refine their search and is highly appreciated.

  3. Avoid Leaving Candidates Unsorted: Ensure candidates don’t sit in the “New” stage without feedback. Sorting candidates quickly helps maintain engagement and shows respect for the agency’s time.

  4. Participate in Community Q&A: If there’s a question in the community or about your JobCast, try to answer it as soon as possible to keep the process moving smoothly.

  5. Maintain Consistency: Avoid delays or generic feedback. Agencies appreciate personalized, thoughtful responses to candidates and questions.

  6. Encourage Open Communication: Make sure to create an open, collaborative atmosphere by regularly engaging with agencies and offering clear guidance about your preferences.

By keeping these points in mind and providing quality interactions, you can boost your Employer Rating, improve your relationships with agencies, and ensure smoother, more efficient hiring processes.
